About

Maggie is a painter based in Knoxville, TN. She received a BFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2025 with a minor in Production Design (specialized in Scenic). Through her acrylic paintings, oil paintings, wall sculptures, and collage, Maggie uses her artistic practice to study the coexistence of peacefulness and pain, a topic that has been frequently relevant to her alternate lifestyle as an endurance athlete. She is also informed by her small town upbringing in East Tennessee in her painting practice. While she is constantly exploring different subjects in her artworks, her paintings generally combine the human figure with fluid, abstract designs, often loosely resembling water.
Maggie has had work shown in the Knoxville Museum of Art, Knoxville Emporium for the Arts, Alexander Hall Galleries, and The Nest Gallery alongside a few other galleries and pop-ups in Savannah, GA and greater Knoxville, TN. She also has been a part of many SCAD Student films as an art director or as part of the production design team, namely as a Scenic Painter on SCAD Thesis Film "L'OUVERTURE" in 2025, which has been shown at several film festivals nationwide.
